CSIR-NISTADS Library is a National Resource Centre in Science Technology Society/Science Technology Innovation areas. It has diverse collection of books, archival materials, reports and handbooks in this area. The library subscribes primarily to journals covering the key contemporary trends in this area. The book and journal collection has built up over the years. At present the library has 26581 books including books in Hindi and some in other languages. Keeping the increasing research focus on innovation and growth, sustainability, climate change, health among others, the library this year has focused on expanding the collection in these domains. A total of 176 books including handbooks primarily focusing in these areas and some new journals and scholarly magazines have been added this year. In addition library also has subscribed two newspapers in Hindi language a few popular magazines in Hindi and English language.
