CSIR-National Institute of Science, Technology and Development Studies, New Delhi organized an orientation programme on “Air Pollution” for students of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan on 27th August, 2019, under the “Jigyasa”-Student-Scientist Connect Programme. Dr. Ranjana Aggarwal, Director CSIR-NISTADS welcomed the students, teachers and encouraged the students to pursue practical approaches in Air Pollution control in their daily life. Dr. M. Rais, Senior Principal Scientist and Nodal Officer of Jigyasa programme at CSIR-NISTADS, outlined the structure and purpose of the programme.
In addition, on the spot Quiz for students on environment and air pollution was conducted. Students were judged by the participating scientists, and token prizes were given to the winners. Students enjoyed the orientation programme and quiz competition.
